In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth................
For centuries man has argued the existence of a creator or a God vs evolutionary processes that took place over an extended
period of time. Man has also invented many gods to worship through history and looked to them for answers.
The culture that worships gods , cannot prove their existence
Darwin can't prove their is no God, nor can he prove we came from the sea.
The believer in Creationism can not put God in a test tube, but I give you the
evidence.
The First day: The Bible states: "And God said let there be light and there was light.
The Second Day:And God made the firmament to divide the waters from the firmament.
The Third Day: The waters were gathered, the land was formed, the seed planted.
The Fourth Day: And God made the lights of the firmament; the lesser and the greater.
The Fifth Day: The life of the ocean and the fowl of the air was created.
The Sixth Day: God created all living creatures that traveled upon the earth and then God
said;
"Let us create man in our image." Upon completion, He stated "it was good,
very good," and he rested!
1. The source of interpretation used is 'Strong's Exhaustive Concordance', an accepted authority
of Greek and Hebrew translation. Therefore the above would read; " During the first period of time
(indefinite), light was created." The second period of time (indefinite), the firmament was created, etc.
Many religions still adhere to a literal day, but this is not the recognized translation as the Greek word
literally means "period of time, which could be one day or a million, trillion, years.)
2. Notice the sixth day, God said; "let us make man in our image! Clearly He was speaking with others. Sounds like a scientific group doesn't it? It definitively states that man was made in the likeness of those who were doing the creating. We recognize this was done, but strain at the thought that a universe, world, heaven, could have existed millions of years longer than ours and would have the technology to do this. We are afraid of the possibility of a God and His magnificence.
3. In the twenty-eighth verse of the first chapter of Genesis, we read; "So God created man in His own image, in the image of God was man created."
4. Christianity (I am of the Christian faith) refuses the idea that man first evolved from the sea,
gradually emerging into a land creature, that evolved into a simian and finally a human. This is simply a theory of the evolutionist with no proof and yet they argue that the Christian has no proof there is a God. This is an oxymoron when you consider they are putting forth their theory as fact, but fight to prohibit creationism being taught in school. Doesn't the Darwinian theory say that all life evolved from the sea, recognizing the sea was here first? Is that not what the Bible states? Why does the atheist or agnostic not look at all the evidence; for the same reason the Christian will not listen to the Darwinian theory. When intelligence sits down for a conference, true evidence may be presented from realistic conclusion rather than passion of belief. If all had the same belief, there would not be sects/denominations. Both views sometimes lack the ability to reason with the other without anger and loss of presentation. Is this evidence of a difference in human beings? (explored later)
5. Darwin speaks of of evolvement of the species from this planet. He believed higher functioning of the brain evolved from the growth of a particular genetic link. If he believed this, why was his mind not open to the possibility that other worlds may be inhabited with a species of so-called intelligence that
may have brought life here. There are many possibilities, but I'm listing one of the most provocative and alluring concepts.
GENESIS 6:1-6
And it came to pass when men began to multiply upon the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, that the sons of God saw the daughters of men that were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose. And the Lord said; "My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he is also flesh: yet his days shall be a hundred and twenty years." There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children unto them. The same became mighty men of renown. And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and it grieved His heart. It states the sons of God took the females they chose. Did the women go willingly or by force?
1. Who were the sons of God; this reference as well as other references to the sons of God lead us to believe they were evil and possibly the fallen angels. Remember according to the Bible they were cast out with satan and satan was allowed to roam the earth. (I refuse to capitalize the name of satan.)
2. If this is a possibility, then the possibility also exists that the children born were half-breeds.
3. People claim God is only a spirit ! Yet, we read we were created in His image and the "actions of man grieved Him at His heart." Again, how could he produce a son of a virgin without intervention of seed? This is not sacreligious when one takes into account that today we produce hundreds of children with artificial insemination and we don't consider this a sin. We are also nearing the time of cloning a human. Furthermore who was the messenger that delivered the message to Mary that she would bear the Child (Son) of God? If this simple explanation is plausible, how many other ways and means are there with a superior intelligence? Why are we afraid to accept that there is a God with far superior science to ours. Look at the accomplishments we have made in the last few hundred years, then what of a realm millions/trillions of years older. But then remember, the Bible states time does not exist there. Are we lacking so much in intelligence that we cannot see the possibilities?
4. If we believe there is a God and if we believe He had a son, Jesus, then why can we not accept any other view but an archaic explanation, that God simply said "poof" and it was done. Yes He could have said "poof" and it would have happened, but did He? Why is it difficult to think of God as the
Master Scientist and Creator of all we see?
5. If any portion of this is true, then what about the concept of the conscience of our minds being ruled according to our genetic structure, the same as our hair coloring, body shape, etc. If this is a possibility, then could some people be born bad, when DNA was shuffled during conception? Likewise, some would have inherited (through genetic dealing) a better hand and could have inherited good traits from our ancestors. Who then would be the instigator of negativity and evil as in the Garden Of Eden. There was no word prior to that of the existence of evil or the knowledge of it upon the earth. Have we not seen the evidence of persons who commit such arocities that we cannot find a better word than evil.
GENESIS 4:1-25
B. Earth already populated at time of Adam and Eve
1. Were there many people on earth when Adam and Eve were created? In the first stages of the creation of man He blessed them (male and female) and told them to replenish the earth. Replenish? Does this mean add to,or just to populate? This is the outline of the first chapter. However in the second chapter God creates a man and woman and places them in the garden (Adam & Eve) and in the 7th verse He states; "And man became a living soul. " They had no living soul before that time? Each religion has their view on this, but I challenge each man/woman to think for themselves with the mind God gave them. I do not interpret, but leave it to each person to contemplate. Is it possible that in the creation of this earth a Great Scientist (God) would experiment with sub-species and the environment before putting His finished work in place? I see God as a scientist above our imagination and a kind one that we cannot comprehend. Then is it not possible God would have put other species (animals such as dinosaurs), here first, then stron but not as violent species next, until he was sure the environment was safe and good for the human species? Do we not try different species in our exploration of drugs/space/experiments?
2. When Cain was driven from the garden and destined to be a vagabond in the earth, then who was the wife he chose? He married and bore a son whom he named Enoch and built a city. A city for whom? A city defined in those days could be a small community/gathering, but even so where did they come from? Why do some religions teach that Adam and Eve had many children that intermarried and it was them who spread all over the earth? Where does the Bible imply that a womans body was so perfected that she could pop out children every nine months and live without aging, thereby populating the earth? To me this thinking is far inferior to the concept that God created or brought others to earth.
3. Further in chapter 6, you read of violence in the earth. If Adam and Eve were the first and only human species, would it not be reasonable to assume that Eve would have died long ago having all those children? Perhaps we are afraid to explore the possibilities of the creation. God would not allow incest in one place (brothers and sisters)(offspring of Adam & Eve) and absolutely forbid incest later? He states His word "is the same today, tomorrow and always, constant and unchanging, " therefore in my mind there was no increase in the earth due to Adam, Eve and their offspring bringing about all the diverse nationalities? Come on!
Ezekial 1: 1-48
C. The book of Ezekial and the flying wheels carrying messengers of God
1. In the first chapter of Ezekial, he states he saw a whirlwind coming from the north with a fire unfolding itself with a brightness about it and out of the midst there came the likeness of four living creatures; and their appearance was that of man. The extended descriptions lends great imagination and fantasy as well as serious thought. Is it possible this is a factual account of what he saw, but having no comparison at the time to our present technology was unable to describe more clearly? Do we know today what manner of transportation God or His messengers may have had? Is this a dimensional event or transportation in and out of our system? What type of device was used to transport the sons of God when they came down unto the daughters of men? Today we have brilliant scientists that are exploring and finding evidence of that very concept. Michio Kaku, a theoretical phyicist and well respected teacher, often seen on television, expresses just such a theory, called branes, strings, dimensions.
2. Do we overlook the possibility of a far distant universe that encompasses the past as well as the future? Is it so unrealistic to conceive of that idea? Einstein spoke of these holes long ago, so this is/was no new concept. If the holes would transport us to the far past, then perhaps there are avenues to our future. Or are we in another ones past! It is said there is no time once we are out of our universe/system, then why is it not within our realm of reasoning to be aware that we still have no grasp of our existence.
3. If Einstein proved the existence of time travel and we recognize that the light from stars we envision at night is the light shed millions of years ago, then we are viewing a tiny portion of the past. That star you look at tonight may have burned out thousands or millions of years ago. Is there not other worlds looking at our planet, that are far advanced to our own and maybe worlds just beginning? Are we so arrogant of thought to believe that we are the only place of existence, therefore we are superior to all living forms? Most scientists today accept the theory of other inhabited worlds, but perhaps the Bible was speaking of them thousands of years ago. What is meant by ll Corinthians 4:4, when it states the god of this world. Is He perhaps speaking of the fallen angel lucifer, also known as satan (yes, I refuse to capitalize his name), whom God states was cast out of heaven with one-third of it's host? The definition of angels are varied depending upon the order to which they belonged, but they were all helpers or messengers of some type. There was/is different ruling orders and/or principalities. You don't have an answer and neither do I; only theories!
